Angels and Daemons
Human relationships are of immense importance to our happiness and fulfilment,
but the mystery traditions tell us we have other companions as well -
angels, daemons and guiding spirits. The nodal axis can help us to explore
the mysteries of fortuitous meetings and the role of mentors and guides,
in this and other worlds, who occasionally give us a kick or show us the
way forward, often in spite of ourselves.
Clare Martin is the President of the Faculty
of Astrological Studies and a Supervisor at the Centre
for Psychological Astrology.

Composite Charts: Interpreting Relationship
This talk outlines an approach to understanding and interpreting composite
charts: the chart of a relationship between two people. As well as revealing
the core dynamics of a relationship as a thing in itself, these charts
have also proved to be extremely reliable in the timing of important developments.
Richard teaches and practices astrology in London and has taught several
very successful classes as part of our Monday evening programme.

Astrology and Friendship
Is the eleventh house really the house of friendship? That association
dates back to an era in which the family was the main source of close
connection. In these times of divorce and serial monogamy, it is often
our friendships that form our most enduring and reliable relationships,
and that are sometimes also the cause of difficulty. I’ll look at what
the birth chart can tell us about our propensity for friendship and our
issues within it, and at which houses are really involved here.

Synastry at Work- The Significance of Relationships within the World
of Business
Business success may depend on the quality of relationships both inside
and outside of an organisation. Some of the most thriving businesses are
those that are skilled at dealing with key partners, such as suppliers,
investors and clients as well as their own employees. I will be looking
at some examples of these relationships within individuals and organisations,
from an astrological perspective and see how observing synastry within
the business world might give us new insights into harmony and discord
at work.

A Fine Romance
Our expectations of the world form the framework within which we conduct
our relationships. We have to understand our own capacity for relationships
before we can assess how we will relate to other people. Looking at the
seventh harmonic, amongst other factors, we can begin to understand our
concept of romance.
