Archie Affleck Graves

It is my sad duty to report the death of Archie Affleck Graves, shown to the right.

Archie, a regular to the Monday meetings, died on 2 November 2007. He had been battling motor neurone disease.

Archie will be much missed by the committee. I found him a constant source of support and honest feedback. I know other members of the committee feel the same.

He also worked as a Blue Badge tour guide and his website is being maintained in his memory: ww.archiesguidedtours.com.

I would like to quote from the site as it seems to say what I feel:

Archie will be sorely missed by his colleagues, not just for his unending pursuit in promoting the Blue Badge guiding profession, but for his gentle humour, huge kindness and genial company.
