Lodge Lecture

It was a pleasure to welcome Phoebe Wyss from the Brighton and Hove Astrology Circle to the Lodge this evening. Apart from her astrological board game, Leibensrad, the wheel of life, which Phoebe devised in 1986, Phoebe has written a book entitled Hercules' Labours. The myths of Hercules’ labours are used as keys in this book to unlock the deeper significance of the twelve houses of the horoscope. These are interpreted archetypally and seen as reflecting the same twelve principles as the signs. The monsters Hercules encountered, and we must wrestle with, are in the mind. They are projections of the fears and negativity that have prevented us so far from taking our seat on Mount Olympus and realising our true nature as a god among gods.

Phoebe went around the room and asked those born with their sun in each sign to read out the Labours and their meaning. You can read more about Phoebe on her website

Class

Tonight was the third Class in the series with Andrew Morton this time focusing on the planet Mars.
