Lodge Lecture

This term is proving to be very enjoyable with tonight, yet another famous astrologer, Mike Harding, from Regents College who talked about Listening to the Sky.

He said that we are always influenced by the way we read a chart and that is the way we see it. However, we view the world in a certain way and someone else will view it completely differently, and so it will be the same when it comes to reading a chart.

He spoke of world philosophers and how they saw the world and showed some fascinating quotes and drawings. He defined Saturn as described from 'Christian Astrology' .

Then he looked at the chart of the NHS of the 5th July 1948. 12 am, London , England - and its 7th Harmonic of what inspires you and it showed profound social change.

Then there was the chart of Albert Hofman, 11 January 1906, 2 pm Basel, Switzerland. He was a researcher who discovered LSD!

He went on to look at the charts of the Gun Powder plot, Queen Victoria's death on the 22nd January 1901, common midpoint aspects shared by Dior, Armani and Versace. Most fascinating was the fact the Freud was born on the midpoint between the birth and death of his father. Great stuff.

Class

Onwards and upwards. This week in the third class on aspects from Sue Tompkinswe looked at the soft centres of the chocolate box, the easy aspects the trines. They allow the energies to flow and they hold hands to reinforce each other. A Trine takes the difficulty out of living but they can cause you to become complacent, but give protection. But they will not help us to grow and we will not learn anything.

Quintiles - 72 degrees - describe your way of thinking. Knowledge comes together as power. What dominates our thinking.

The Septile - 51 1/2 degrees, 103, 154 1/2 is the source of your inspiration and how we inspire others. It also describes our fantasies. OUr own particular picturesque falsehood

We also looked at the chart of Richard Branson, 18th July 1950, Blackheath, Eng. 07:00
