Lodge Lecture

Last term Paul Charlesworth was in the midst of a series of classes on Chinese astrology when the fire in Gloucester Place put pay to to the final class. He agreed, very kindly, to return to the Lodge and complete his work with a 'stand alone' lecture on the same subject but focusing on the cycles associated with this form of astrology. He looked at the 10 year luck cycle, the yearly cycle and the daily 'Clothes cutting days' cycle. The charts were interesting to look at. By finding out your animal from the ephemeris you are able to look through the charts and see what you need to check on what you should be doing day by day.

Class

This was week two of the second week of the Huber Life clock with Pete High. In this class Peta brought in charts of people in the class to discuss their life clocks. It was amazingly accurate.

Charts Discussion

This week we looked the chart of Burma, to see if we could see the symbolism of the events which are taking place there. Burma has Sagittarius on the ascendant, and Jupiter in the first house at 15 degrees. Therefore at present this country is having a Jupiter return, which so aptly symbolised the religious Buddhist monks becoming involved with the issues that face the country. There were also some very amazing but difficult aspects within the chart indicating change; however it was predicted that there would be a period of lack of information coming from this enigmatic country in the coming months.

We next looked at the chart of Tim Henman, who retired from tennis on a bit of a high note. He has an unaspected Mars, which we all thought was amazing. More amazing still was that it had been hit by the Pluto/Mars/Sun T square which happened at approximate the same time as that last game in the Davis Cup.

Fascinating stuff...
