 Astrology from the Edge
In my lecture I asked should we astrologists and other searchers in
knowledge in the more esoteric cosmologies, throw these thousand year
old concepts into the bin, as scientist (both Quantum and Astro physicists)
discover the reality of our Universe. I described how Cosmologists are
discussing what occurred before the Big Bang that created our Universe,
I talked of the moment of Creation and then described as succinctly as
I could the 13.7 billion year history. But the core of the lecture was
the relationship of the forces forces of nature (Gravity, Electro Magnetism,
the Strong Nuclear force and the Weak Nuclear Force) with the four elements,
Fire, Earth, Air and water) and correlations with the planets. This was
not without precedence. It has been used in Hinduism and Theosophy with
their concept of the 5 Tattvas. These are, with their elemental and four
forces counterpart
1. Akasa -- Ether. The Grand Unified Force
2. Vayu – Air – The Weak Nuclear Force
3. Tejas – Fire – The Strong Nuclear Force.
4. Apas – Water – Electro Magnetism
5. Prithivi – Earth - Gravity
I hope to do further research into these concepts and correlations,
so watch this space.
The answer to my question was an emphatic No, as the Quantum World is
showing that we are all connected which is what Astrology, Theosophy,
and other Esoteric systems have been showing us for millennia and this
is one of the reasons I am passionate about Astrology.
