Lodge Lecture | Class | Charts Discussion Lodge Lecture
She went on to prove her point by putting up one chart, asking many different questions from different aspects of relationships, situations etc and finding the answers. How easy it was. Just by considering the condition of the Ascendant ruler and those planets aspecting it and whether they were in dignity or debilitation, exaltation or fall and whether it was a day or a night chart. A great hour reminding us what we often forget Class
In Western Astrology they can be viewed as Mean Nodes (Average) and True Nodes ( direct, stationary, forward). They are considered important around times of eclipses. and the nodal cycle is 18.6 years. The North Node acts like the Sun and Jupiter and the South Node like Moon and Saturn. You cannot consider them separately and it is one axis. The South Node is the past and what we already know, where we may fall back into patterns. The North Node is where we aspire to be and where we are challenged. This week Sue looked at the houses and the signs. She used equal house system. She finished the class by looking at charts of some people we knew and of one of the class members. We will be looking at more of our own next week. Carole WestCharts Discussionto follow |
