Lodge Lecture |Charts Discussion Lodge LectureIt was our pleasure to welcome Jaki Miles Windmill, DFAstrol.S, to the Lodge for the very first time. Jaki is a musician and Drama teacher and has been interested in astrology all of her life. Her talk tonight was on 'Creativity in the Chart'. In her teaching of children and adults she noticed that if there was a problem then she would check the chart to see where creativity had been stifled. In many cases artistic creativity came out of baggage and pain. People usually seek help when they cannot manifest their creativity. Her talk was peppered with wonderful quotations and we also took part in a short visualisation. Jaki always starts by looking at the 12th house to find out what there is to express, then to the 5th house to see how it is likely to be manifested (inner child). She goes on to look for Neptune for inspiration and dreams and the impulse for creative expression. Then she goes on to look for Saturn for the structure. All the planets play their part in the picture until it is complete. She then went on to show charts of Yoko Ono, Bob Dillon and Madonna. The hour went too fast but she will be back. Carole WestCharts DiscussionCharts Discussion reflected things that had happened during the Christmas break. So the first one out of the bag was a light hearted look at the Angelina Jolie (4/June/75 - 09:09, L.A.), Brad Pitt (18/December/63 - 6:31 am, Shawnee, OK) and Jennifer Anniston (16.February.69 - 22.22, Los Angeles, CA) triangle. Then we looked at the chart of Iran (1 April 1979, 15: 00, Tehran). Someone predicted there would be a war by March. Watch this space... Finally we looked at the chart of Charles Kennedy, the recently departed leader of the Lib Dems (25.November.59, 2:15 GMT, Inverness) and then at the party chart as well. Carole West |
