Lodge Lecture | Class | Charts Discussion Lodge LectureThis week's speaker Judith Levy had to cancel her lecture at the last minute due to illness. Her scheduled talk will now take place in the Autumn. Her place was taken over at very short notice by Adam Smith. It was a pleasure to welcome him. His talk was intriguing. Adam's work in astrology has been varied and in his chart reading he said that he liked to go to the local cafe and meet his clients there. Apart from looking at their birth horoscope he found himself doing a 'chart of the moment' - a Consultation Chart. To his amazement he found that this worked really well at getting to the point and pinpointing the trouble or pressing concerns of the Client and this inspired him to carry on working in this way. It reflected the intention of the Client at that time. He then proceeded to demonstrate by putting up example charts and showing how, by using the ascendant ruler to represent the client, in a similar way to Horary, one could read the aspects etc. to the planet and assume a situation, which turned out to be correct. How does it work? Well just to throw a spanner in the works, he elected a wrong chart by accident, by making a mistake in the location, and the chart still worked! So now we do not even have to put up a birth chart........ Adam has a website so you can check out his details. Class
We also looked at the charts of Iraq, which showed a strong reform with even a possible name change! The USA and the charts of George W Bush and Tony Blair all with transits indicating exactly what was happening. Next week will deal with the Horoscope. Carole WestCharts DiscussionHot off the press and faster than the speed of light. Cruz Beckham. The
third son of the Beckham dynasty has Libra rising, and Moon conjunct Saturn,
and as both these planets ruled the Mother/Father axis, this indicated
that this new-born may glue the marriage together. With Mercury conjoined
Uranus and other planets in the 11th house. We all agreed that he would
be a bit of a charmer, but underneath a very serious deep person. Gill Dorren |
