This evening we were graced by one of the Lodge's favourite visitors, Melanie Reinhart. Her talk was on Saturn in Leo and she reflected how, in fact, it was her own Saturn return for commencing talking in public on Astrology.

She went through all the meanings of Saturn and Leo and the symbolism of the aspects of Saturn in Leo opposing Chiron in Aquarius, which went across the fourth/tenth house axis at the time of the ingress in July. It symbolised the breakdown of structures and the formation of tribes in the fear of entrapment.

As she went through many slides showing her ideas of Saturn and Leo she came to the point of the talk which was Timbavati, the point of the earth where the star Lions came down to earth. Zimbabwe is on the Nilotic meridian which follows the Nile to the Sphinx. It was on Christmas day in the year 2000 that Marah, a white lion was born in Bethlehem, South Africa. Her chart was amazing. Marah and her cubs have now been moved to a protected area in the Timbavati region, incredibly right next door to a place where the 'big five' are bred purely for game hunters to shoot. Let us hope that the presence of these regal animals will make a difference to the soul of the area. An impassioned plea by someone who cares.
