Lodge Lecture | Charts Discussion Lodge LectureTonight's lecture, entitled The Astrology of Accidents, was the first given on the subject at the Lodge for 20 years. Our speaker was a regular at the Lodge, Santiago Mantas. He put up some interesting charts showing transits of certain planets to the natal chart setting off accidents by burning, shooting or drowning. Planets involved are generally Uranus for electricity, angular Mars and Pluto on the ascendant for tricky physical body experiences. There was the case of Roy Sullivan who was struck no less than 7 times by lightning and then eventually shot himself. Then we looked at the chart of American author Susan Atkinson who drowned. The most fascinating story was about two babies, Jacqueline Waitrek and Billy Wayne Mutz, who were born on the same day six hours apart and who's mothers shared a room at the hospital. 22 years later they were both involved in car accidents in different counties four hours apart and they both died! Absolutely fascinating information. Thank you Santiago. Santiago Mantas has been involved in astrology for the past twenty years, having spent four years as a professional which involved working phone lines. He does not subscribe to one particular school of astrology, rather he uses different tools and approaches, depending on what he wishes to accomplish. His interest in astrology began when he had his chart done and it made an amazing amount of sense. Locational astrology is a particular area of interest and regulars to the Lodge charts discussion will be familiar with his presentations of earthquake and volcano charts. Also a freelance concert pianist and composer, when asked if he played with a particular orchestra he replied that in his experience he tends to play against them. Data available on our data page. Mavis put up a Chart for Christopher Reeves after the programme on his progress was on television this week. This was to coincide with Santiago's lecture. Unfortunately she did not have a time so she showed a daybreak chart. However, we have the correct data now and will discuss this and the date and time of his accident in next week's Chart discussion. We also took advantage of Santiago again as we looked at the chart of the Calemo earthquake. Apparently the moon is square the geodetic Midheaven for Colemo. Next we were treated to Gill's Solar return chart as it was her birthday on the 6th February and we also looked at Carole's son's chart. His birthday is on Valentine's day. Data available on our data page. Gill Dorren |
